Overrated. 2/3 roped off during good part of the day for private resorts. Remaining 1/3 is an open sun BBQ- no shade. You will need to bring your own. No light after dark along the beach. But probably best and largest among the 4 lagoons. No rocks showing on this beach. Snorkeling is a waste of time given all 4 were man-made. I did not see any significant sea creatures beyond occasional fries (little fishes), no coral, nothing but sand n rock. Wander beyond at the mouth of the lagoon into the waves not worthy as there are plenty other better locations on this island. Kids friendly. Small waves get in. Someone cannonball at the pool would give a bigger wave. Public parking is horrendous given the lot I got to have a dozen parking and that's it. Park at lagoon 4 and walk here was about a 15 minutes walk.

The 1st lagoon is in my opinion the busiest one, nonetheless, it is a very nice spot to enjoy with the family and friends. The hotel will NOT allow you to use your own beach umbrellas so be mindful of that. If you are looking for a more chill and not too busy lagoon then keep walking towards the others in the south direction.

Yes! The rumor is true, the lagoons are free to the public. This was our first time at the lagoons… we stayed at a hotel in Waikiki but wanted to see the resorts famously beautiful lagoons. We parked across the street payed for parking and walked over thru the side path that leads straight to the first lagoon. We then moved to the second and third one thru out the day. All 4 lagoons are beautiful and great for swimming, playing in the sand, taking walks, soaking, etc. we purchased snacks and refreshments from the shops and restaurants. The sunset is beautiful from any of the lagoons. I will definitely return.

The Four Lagoons are good for swimming and relaxing on the beach. Public beach access so you do not have to stay at the resorts to utilize the beaches or lagoons. The only downside is parking. You will either have to arrive early to find a spot or park near the shops/restaurants which is paid parking.

Perfect swimming beach. Great for SUP ride too. Our favourite lagoon though, was number 2 since it was much less crowded.

Your eyes see as far as the earth curves. The ocean is wide open. The sky is a light blue and the puffy clouds oversee the waves below.

This is a beautiful lagoon on Oahu, and a great place to check out for tourists. The water is peaceful and warm, and there is lots of space available to sit on the beach. A great place to watch the sunset too, I've seen some amazing ones here! This lagoon is a quieter part of Oahu (quieter than Waikiki Beach that is) and secluded, so there are not an overwhelming amount of people. The Disney Resort and other resorts are nearby, which adds to the Hawaiian, touristy vibe. Highly recommend checking out this lagoon!
